We are a non-for-profit organization that's goal is to pick up food from local farms and bring these resources to the surrounding food banks to feed people in need. With the sudden hit of the COVID-19 virus, businesses shut down, people lost their jobs, and it became harder for people to get essentials like food, water, and supplies to keep safe. According to an article written by Feeding South Florida Palm Beach County already has 13.6% of the population being food insecure. 189,940 people in our county are extremely fearful of each day due to not knowing where they will get their next meal.

According to the Palm Beach Post as of February 2020 3.5% of people in America were unemployed. Now due to the coronavirus it has increased to nearly 15%. That equates to about 20 million people without jobs across America. Almost 17 million people have filled out unemployment papers since March, 25th 2020. Because of this, hunger has extremely risen and will increase as the virus continues. We are purchasing products from local farms, which is supporting local businesses. We want to help relieve people by providing them with nutrition and supplies to keep them safe.
